A Pomodoro timer in the Chrome toolbar
Pomororo Companion is the Chrome extension for the same timer as pomororo.com, and it is on the Chrome Web Store. Closing the popup does not reset the countdown, because remaining time comes from timestamps, not from the popup staying open.

The same block as the website
On this computer, the extension and pomororo.com share the active timer. The newer timer state wins. Tasks, history, and the site block list are not merged into one account, because there is no account, sync, or payment.
A task line, not a second todo app
The popup can show what you are working on. That note stays in the extension on your device. The popup can also set a custom focus and break length, and turn the end-of-block notification on or off.
Optional site blocking
Focus Guard blocks only domains you add, and only during a running or paused focus block. It starts disabled, and the list starts empty. Site access is requested once. It does not block during a break, or when the timer is ready or finished.
Socials, and a careful google.com
Reddit, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube can be added in one step. There is still no default block list. Blocking google.com also blocks Docs, Gmail, and Drive. To block Drive alone, add drive.google.com.
Pause before you leave
This starts off. When it is on, leaving a blocked site waits 5 seconds and asks “You can leave. Are you sure?”
The website works without it
You can use the Pomodoro timer at pomororo.com with or without the extension. The website timer does not block other sites. The extension adds the toolbar and site blocking.
Screen wake stays on the website
The extension does not keep the screen awake. That happens in the Pomororo tab, and only while a focus block is running.
