A Pomodoro timer with an optional website blocker
The timer on pomororo.com does not block other websites. Site blocking is in Pomororo Companion, the Chrome extension, on the Chrome Web Store. Focus Guard stays off until you turn it on and add domains.

Only the sites you add
Focus Guard has no default block list. The list starts empty. Site access is requested once, and after that only the addresses you added are blocked.
Socials, in one step
Reddit, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube can be added together. Nothing is blocked until you add it.
google.com is broad
Blocking google.com also blocks Docs, Gmail, and Drive. To block Drive alone, add drive.google.com.
Only during focus
Blocking applies while a focus block is running or paused. Short breaks, long breaks, a timer that has not started, and a finished block leave browsing alone.
Pause before you leave
This starts off. When it is on, leaving a blocked site waits 5 seconds and asks “You can leave. Are you sure?”
Local, and easy to turn off
The block list stays on your device. There is no account, sync, or payment. The extension does not read page content or browsing history. Turning Focus Guard off sends you on to the site you were opening. The popup can also set a custom focus and break length, and turn the end-of-block notification on or off.
